Data Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with 8 months to 1 year of relevant experience to analyze business data, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work with multiple data sources to collect, clean, transform, and analyze information, while developing dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools. The role requires strong SQL and Microsoft Excel skills, along with the ability to validate data accuracy, identify trends, automate reporting processes, and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate weekly and monthly reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill reporting requirements.
• Automate repetitive reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation for reports, datasets, and analytical processes.
• Support data-driven business decisions through accurate analysis and visualization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8 months – 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong command of SQL and Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
• Practical experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
• Understanding of ETL, data cleaning, and data transformation processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Python, particularly Pandas and NumPy, will be an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience creating Power BI dashboards.
• Familiarity with MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of statistics and Business Intelligence.
• Experience with Google Sheets.
• Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful reports and dashboards.
