Job Description
The selected professionals will be responsible for assessing credit risk, analyzing financial information, evaluating customer/business proposals, and supporting sound credit decisions within the Corporate & Financial Institutions (FI) Risk function.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit risk assessments and financial analysis of corporate and institutional customers.
- Review financial statements, business performance, cash flows, and key financial ratios.
- Analyze credit proposals and assess the repayment capacity and overall creditworthiness of customers.
- Identify and evaluate key credit, financial, industry, and business risks.
- Prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports and recommendations.
- Review existing credit facilities and monitor portfolio performance.
- Ensure compliance with the bank’s internal credit policies, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with Relationship Managers and relevant internal stakeholders regarding credit proposals.
- For the Islamic Banking role, evaluate financing proposals in accordance with applicable Shariah-compliant banking structures and requirements.
???? Education & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, ACCA, CFA, FRM, ICMA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Relevant experience in Credit Risk, Credit Analysis, Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions Risk, or Financial Services.
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and risk evaluation.
- Knowledge of corporate and institutional banking products will be preferred.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Candidates with relevant Islamic Banking / Islamic Finance experience will be preferred for the Islamic Banking position.
